すんぴ・USDT0とは？/About USDT0
USDT0は、LayerZeroのOmnichain Fungible Token（OFT）標準に基づいて構築されたクロスチェーン対応のUSDTです。従来のブリッジやラップトークンを使用せず、USDTの信頼性を保ちながら、異なるブロックチェーン間でのシームレスな移動を実現。
USDT0は「ロック＆ミント」方式を採用。具体的には、Ethereum上でUSDTをロックし、目的のブロックチェーン上で同量のUSDT0を発行します。このプロセスにより、USDT0は常に1:1の比率でUSDTに裏付けられています。2025年4月にはa16zから$55Mの資金調達を3年のロックアップ付きで達成しており、もしかしたらエアドロ期待値あるか？ということでTXを刻んでおこうと思いました。
USDT0 is a cross-chain compatible version of USDT built on the Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard developed by LayerZero. It enables seamless movement between different blockchains without relying on traditional bridges or wrapped tokens, while maintaining the reliability of USDT.
USDT0 utilizes a "lock-and-mint" mechanism. Specifically, USDT is locked on Ethereum, and an equivalent amount of USDT0 is minted on the target blockchain. This process ensures that USDT0 is always backed 1:1 by USDT.
